 10 QUESTIONS WITH: Red Ram 1. Who are you and where can people find out more about you and your band? I'm Mark Feduk of Red Ram, and you can find out more about us at www.redram.ca www.myspace.com/redram11 or www.sonicbids.com/redram 2. Who are your biggest influences? I'd have to say they'd be The Beatles, Johnny Cash, Neil Young, Beck and Nirvana 3. If you could have anyone in your band, who would it be? Jack White 4. What is the largest and smallest crowd you`ve played in front of? I sang the anthem for the Oilers at a sold out game with my former band The Uncas, so I think that's about 18,000? And the smallest? Maybe 4 or 5 people in a small bar outside of Fredericton! 5. What signed band should get dropped so that you can get a record deal and why? Haha! I can't take anyone's record deal, that'd be just plain rude. 6. Your band has been the Sonic 102 “Band Of The Month”, how has that impacted your band? It brought a lot of local and regional attention to the band, especially with people who may not have otherwise heard about us because they reside outside of Edmonton or they are too young to get into our shows. 7. What other band do you think should be the Sonic 102 “Band Of The Month” and why? Fire Next Time - I just love these guys and their music. 8. What’s next for Red Ram? Some touring between Winnipeg and Vancouver 9. If your band could tour with any 3 bands, who would it be and why? Beck, The Raconteurs, and Radiohead - mostly because it would be great to meet all those people and would have to be an amazing time! 10. What advice would you give a new band starting out? Play live as much as you can, practice even more, and pay attention to the business side of things - as unexciting as it can be!    |
